Community Outreach
The Doctors and Staff at Ellingsen-Paxton-Johnson Orthodontics are proud to be active members of the Spokane Community. For example:
- Dr. Paxton and Dr. Johnson are members of the Craniofacial Review Board, which allows them to contribute their time to help those with oral and facial deformities.
- Each Spring Ellingsen-Paxton-Johnson Orthodontics delivers daffodils to general dental offices throughout the Spokane area to help support the American Cancer Society in their efforts to find a cure for cancer.
- Ellingsen-Paxton-Johnson Orthodontics supplies the local schools with “emergency” kits for those students needing orthodontic relief during the school day. The kits contain such things as wax, Orabase, Peroxyl, floss threaders and elastics. These basic supplies can help prevent students from leaving school unnecessarily for appointments.
- Ellingsen-Paxton-Johnson Orthodontics participates in career fairs and science fairs at the local schools. This gives the Doctors and Staff an opportunity to share information about their journey to the field of orthodontics.
- Our patients have the opportunity to earn “tokens” at their appointments. Excellent oral hygiene earns them one token, wearing the Ellingsen-Paxton-Johnson t-shirt provided when treatment starts earns them one token and getting the dentist or hygienist to confirm that they had a cleaning done and everything looks good earns them two tokens. These tokens can be returned to Ellingsen-Paxton-Johnson Orthodontics and we will donate $1 for every token donated on behalf of the patient and match it with a $1 from Ellingsen-Paxton-Johnson Orthodontics to Spokane Valley Partners.
